Eva Olsson holocaust presentation

A holocaust survivor, Eva Olsson came to our school to tell her exciting tale, full of gruesome and terrible things. She was an excellent speaker, apparently she has spoken all over the place to other people and told them of her different journeys. She explained what terrible things she witnessed, and experienced. She started off giving a message, that you should never say the word hate, because that is how millions of jews died.

She said that she was shipped in a cable car to Germany with 100-110 people per car. They only got 2 buckets, 1 for a washroom and 1 for water bucket for 1 car. Many people died in there, but none of her family died in there. The survivors that got out of the car then went into a large line where they would be ordered to go left or right. Eva went right, luckily she had a chance to live, if you had to go left you would be sent into the gas chambers. Eva's mother went left and she never saw her mother again, she lost her mother at the age of 19.

In the end she lost her whole family except her sister. When she went to sweden she met a man who asked her to dance, and she ended up marrying him, despite the language barrier. Many terrible things have happened to this lady, and she says that hate caused it all to happen. Ontop of the holocaust at the age of 38 Eva Olsson lost her husband, in a car accident, because of drunk driving. Eva Olsson has gone through many things, and she still managed to talk about it.
